Stuck in the Snow!

Every year the Front Office Manager's at the JW Marriott (where I work) go on a ski trip together. A little bonding day. Anyways....this year we decided to go to BrianHead. Frank was driving and he was following a GPS system. It told us to turn left and we did. It ended up taking us down a side road and we ended up getting stuck in the snow. The SUV would not budge. We dug for more than an hour and then walked probably around 3 miles until we found someone to help us. Then it took their friend 2 hrs to get there to help pull us out. So after 5 hours.....we got out of our predicament and on our way back to Vegas. So much for our ski trip! But it was hilarious and I had a good time anyways.

BYU Football Game

I got free tickets to the BYU/Arizona Las Vegas Bowl Game on Sat Dec 20th from one of the travel coaches that I know. We took McKay and Christine Dayton and had a great night! Too bad BYU completely sucked and lost 34 to 10 or something like that. But we still had a good time anyways.

Abby's First Dance Recital

Abby had her first dance recital! She was so adorable! She starts dance classes again in January...and this time will be doing tap as well. :) (there are more pics on her page)

It's Snowing in Vegas!

I cannot believe the snow we got this week! It snowed on Monday for several hours but did not stick. Wednesday it went crazy. It snowed almost all day and there was enough snow to build snowmen and throw snowballs. They even closed the schools for Thursday, which is the first time they have done this in over 10 years! Crazy, huh?

Thanksgiving in Washington!

It was our first time back to Washington in over 2 years and it was great! As most of you know, my parents moved to Utah a couple years ago and just recently moved back to Vancouver, Washington. We flew there for Thanksgiving this year. It was great to be back to visit friends and hang out with my family. The weather was pretty nice for the most part, and we did some fun things with the kids.

NKOTB Concert Tacoma!

Ok, I know you are all getting sick of NKOTB....so here it is....the last NKOTB concert this year! It was, of course, fabulous! Me and my friend Jen drove to Tacoma and stayed overnight at the Courtyard Downtown. We met up with some friends that I have not hooked up with in years, Brandi Hanson and Bekki Barlow Park. It was so great to see them! After we met up for dinner we headed to the show. Me and Jen had floor seats and we ended up in the 1st row of Section 4 floor! They were great seats! We had a blast!

Twilight the Movie!

If you haven't seen it, you have to! Went to the movie with my mom on Friday and then again this weekend with my friend Jen. Loved it both times and am excited to take my husband to it! Bummed I couldn't do the whole Twilight release night with my friends in Vegas, but am looking forward to doing that for New Moon when it comes out!
