Back To School

The kids both had their first days of school. Dillon started 4th grade a couple weeks ago at his new school Mark Fine Elementary. Abby started preschool yesterday and really loves it! There are more pictures of them on their first day, on their blog pages.

St George Fair

I had the weekend off, so we decided to take the kids to St George on Saturday for one night. We ended up taking them to a little fair there and the kids had a great time riding the rides. I do have to say, I forgot how much I DON'T like Ferris wheels though..... neither does Dillon. But Abby sure loved it. What a little daredevil she is. It was a great little family getaway. :)

Huntsman Baby "Preston" has arrived

Our dear friends, The Huntsmans, had their baby boy Preston on Monday night at 9pm. He is a healthy and beautiful baby! I got to go see him on Tuesday evening and visit with proud parents too. Love you guys! Congrats!

Shark Reef

Mom came into town this past week for Abby's dance recital. On her last day here we went down to Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. We had a great time! Thanks for coming mom! The kids miss you already!
A slideshow of more pics of the Shark Reef is on Abby's page.

NKOTB Vegas July 2009

So, as usual, the concert was AMAZING! The "five hardest working guys in show business" still know how to put on a show! The only bummer was that I wish I would have done the General Admission (floor) instead of the seats. The seats were farther away that I thought they would be. The meet and greet went great though. I met some awesome girls and we had a great time! And I got to stand next to Joe & Danny this time for the picture. Then I got to hug them all again (except Jordan this time...somehow I missed him) The Meet and Greet pics have not been downloaded by ILAA yet, but as soon as they are, I will load to this site. The guys did mention during the concert that they are coming to the end of the tour though. So I think this is it! It has been a great ride while it lasted! I'll be a NKOTB FAN FOREVER! What a great experience for them to get back together and for me to get the chance to meet them, not once, but twice in person. Like I said before.....a childhood dream come true!

Please Don't Go Girl

I love the fact that he still sings this song....all grown up now! Sexy!

Click, Click, Click

This song is Click, Click, Click. One off the new cd.

Joey Singing "Single"

The guys all went out into the audience at one point and sang "Single". This is
Joey. Can I say....SO GORGEOUS!!!!

Step By Step- Vegas 2009

Here they are singing Step By Step. They were messing around though. It was funny.
Jordan sang and then he surprised Joey and asked him to sing the next verse. That was hilarious. And it went on from there. :)

Dirty Dancin'

This is one of my favorite songs of their new cd.

Trip to Washington

Me and Abby took a trip to Washington this past week. Dillon stayed home with Chuck, since he is still in school. Washington was beautiful and the weather was wonderful! I did not want to leave. We stayed with my parents and had so much fun. We took Abby to the Oregon zoo, the Tillamook Cheese Factory, ChuckECheese, Cannon Beach, and the Rododendrum Gardens. She also enjoyed my parents backyard and jumping with them on the trampoline. She still asks every day if we can go back. So do I. :) Oh how beautiful Washington and Oregon are. I miss it!

The Other Humphreys

I put together some photos of the other Humphrey family here in Las Vegas. For those of you who don't know what that means, they are Chuck's parents Earl and Donna Humphrey and our nieces, Taylor (14) and Whitney (13). We enjoy having them nearby. I remember when the girls were Abby's age. Now they are both so grown up and gorgeous! Boy are they going to be "heartbreakers".

Cool Pics!

My mom just sent me these pics she took with her new camera. I thought they were pretty cool. A couple are from the zoo, when Dillon went to Washington this past month. And one is a gorgeous picture of Washington. Now do you understand why I would love to move back?
You should be a photographer mom!

31st Bday

Today was my 31st birthday! Thanks to all my friends and family for making it such a special day. The Managers at the JW Marriott took me out to dinner last night and I had a great time. Then today, my best friends took me to lunch as well. Then later tonight we celebrated with the family. Above is a picture with Donielle (our boss) and Melissa (other Manager) and myself.

I had to work on St Patricks Day, but there was a big St Patricks Day bash at the Irish Pub at the resort I work at. Some of my co-workers/Friends were there and so after work I headed over and hung out with them. It was alot of fun! Happy St Patricks Day to everyone!

A Childhood Dream Come True!

Most of you that know me....know that I LOVE NKOTB and have since I was a kid. They reunited just a year ago and have just started their 2009 Spring Tour. Most of you also know that I was supposed to meet them at the Portland, OR concert last November and then it was cancelled and I was completely bummed! Ever since I was young and in love with NKOTB, I have dreamed of actually getting the chance to meet them. So when they announced their Spring tour....I scrambled and booked the closest VIP Meet and Greet tickets available...and that was Tulsa, OK. The concert was last night! I spent the day yesterday focused on NKOTB! From waiting for them to arrive in the afternoon to the BOK Center(and getting to meet Donnie then), to the Meet and Greet (where I got to hug each and every one of them), and then waiting for them to leave the BOK Center (and getting to say hi to Donnie yet again). It was a blast! I met some new friends as well. Above are the pics from the Meet and Greet. I got to stand by my two favorites Joey and Donnie. :) I will post more pics on a slideshow below as soon as I get the chance to download them.

Game Night Fun~

So this past Friday we had game night at the Beck's house and decided to pull out a Wii game. Here are the guys. It is hilarious! Mckay Dayton is singing and Chuck is playing drums and Kevin Beck guitar. :)....Get a load of McKay sporting the british accent!

I was actually surprised that Chuck decided to sing one. He usually can't carry a tune....but he actually didn't sound half bad. :)

And of course....can't not include one without Christine! Belinda Beck is on guitar here as well.

It was a fun night!

Middle of Nowhere.....Stuck in a Hole!

Stuck in the Snow!

Every year the Front Office Manager's at the JW Marriott (where I work) go on a ski trip together. A little bonding day. Anyways....this year we decided to go to BrianHead. Frank was driving and he was following a GPS system. It told us to turn left and we did. It ended up taking us down a side road and we ended up getting stuck in the snow. The SUV would not budge. We dug for more than an hour and then walked probably around 3 miles until we found someone to help us. Then it took their friend 2 hrs to get there to help pull us out. So after 5 hours.....we got out of our predicament and on our way back to Vegas. So much for our ski trip! But it was hilarious and I had a good time anyways.
