Family Pics 2008

My friend Tami recently started her own photography business and she did our family pics this year. She is awesome! I am so excited to know someone in the photography business. Despite the wind and the distractions of ducks, geese and a playground....Tami still managed to get some cute shots of the family. Above are only a couple of the shots she had posted on her site. Happy Halloween

That's right...I actually dressed up this Halloween. I was a Witch! Tami took this picture of me and Chuck at the Ward Halloween Party on Thursday night. Abby was a little witch as well and Dillon was (of course) another Star Wars character! For more pics of the kids take a look at their pages. Hope you all had a Happy Halloween!

Magic Mountain

This past weekend we went down to Magic Mountain for Fright Fest with Tami & Carl Huntsman. We had a blast! It was so much fun to hang out just as couples. Can't wait to do it again soon! Thanks Carl & Tami for a great weekend!

Game Night

Every month Rachel has a Game Night for the Girls at her house. It is mostly the Coronado Ward that goes....but every once in a while some of us Pinnacle ward gals go and have a blast!

Portland NKOTB Concert Cancelled

I don't even know what to do right now. I just got an email that the concert in Portland has been cancelled. That was the concert that I was going to get to meet the guys at. I called right away and all they are going to do is refund our tickets to us. I am still going to the Tacoma show, but I don't have VIP 5 tickets for that show and will not get to meet the guys. I just don't understand why they wouldn't do anything for those of us that have the Meet and Greet tickets in Tacoma. Why couldn't they schedule extra time for us to meet them there? I am totally bummed! All VIP 5 tickets are sold out for the rest of their tour in the USA. There goes that childhood dream that was so close to coming true!

NKOTB Concert Vegas 2008!

What a night! The New Kids on the Block sure know how to put on a show still! It was the best concert I have ever been to! Rachel, Tami and I met Claudia at the Mandalay Bay at 6p and had dinner. Then we headed to the concert where Rachel and Tami had to get their "Right Stuff" tshirts. Then we split up to head to our seats. Tami and I had floor seats in Sec 5 row 8. Claudia and Rachel were in Balcony 210 row 2...but they were determined to work their way down closer to the stage.....and they did! They ended up in one of the 100 section balconies and the first row! So they had an amazing view as well! I still liked our seats better because part of the concert the guys are on a back circular stage that rotates. That stage was only 5 rows behind us! We were so close! Some of the amazing video below is from that view. Again can I say....WHAT A CONCERT! I almost lost my voice from singing and screaming the whole time. After the concert was over we headed over to LAX at the Luxor for the after party. Oh my gosh the crowd was crazy! I had to PUSH my way through the crowd like I've never pushed before! Finally I got the bouncer to let us in. Shortly later NKOTB showed up at the club and it was crazy! We could only watch them from a distance. So we finally left and headed home. It was so fantastic and I am so happy that they came back on tour. I would be totally bummed if I didn't have two more concerts to go to in November! Thanks girls for being part of a NIGHT TO REMEMBER!

Here are a couple of the shorter clips I have from when the guys were on the rotating stage behind us (only 5 rows away). It was crazy they were so close! The first one is just a little clip of Joey. Just in case you didn't know....he's my fave!
